When he was only 10 months old, Kylo was surrendered to an animal shelter. But today, he’s so thankful for being rescued, he gives love to everyone he meets.
Kylo has been in his new home for a year, but he’s still so happy to be rescued that he shows his gratefulness by hugging his mom each day. It seems that all he wants to do is climb up on her lap and give her a big hug whenever he can.
The sweet pup is adorable and can’t wait to hug mom when she gets home each day. He loves to climb up into her lap like a baby and wrap his paws around her neck. He even pouts until she sits down to give him his cuddle time.
His owner, Meghan Sweers, told the Dodo,
“As soon as I sit down to take off my shoes, he climbs into my lap to be held. If I don’t sit down for our cuddle time, he follows me around with the saddest most pathetic look on his face until I give in and hold him.”
Things were not always so happy for sweet Kylo. While he was at the shelter, he was pulled by a foster home, but no one showed him any interest until Sweers and her husband met him and decided to give him a forever home.
Since that time, the adorable pup has been the happiest guy. On the first night in their home, Sweers said, “He crawled into my lap, tucked his head under my chin, and started snoring like a chainsaw. From that moment, my husband and I knew he was staying with us!”
And Kylo doesn’t limit his affection to his immediate family. He wants to share his love with everyone he meets. “He wins people over a bit forcibly… by climbing into their lap and falling asleep,” Sweers said.
The dog is just the sweetest pup. He’s so thankful for being rescued, he never stops showing his joyful heart. It might have taken him a while to find his forever home, but he certainly found the perfect home.
This guy just goes to show how grateful rescue dogs are for second chances. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could give up on this cute dog. We hope you enjoyed his rescue story. Please feel free to share with your friends.
